Sylvan Lake Beach Park is open as a campground only. Swimming and fishing at our property is for registered campers. All others will be asked to leave. No day passes available.

Cancellations made 48 hours before checking in will be charged a $15 processing fee, less than 48 hours will be charged the 1st night’s rate.
Check in time is from 2:00-7:00 pm. If your site is available, you can check in early for a fee ($20). All trailers arriving after 7pm maybe placed on an overnight site at the manager on duties discretion. Check out time is 12:00 pm.
Speed limits in the park are 10 Mph on entry road, 5 Mph around campsites.
Quiet hours are from 11:00pm-8:00am weekends, 10:00pm-8:00am weekdays.
Pets are welcome at our campground, however their owners have to abide by the following rules : No aggressive dogs, a limit of of 2 dogs per site. Your pet must be always on a leash, and not left out unattended. Pick up after your pet and do not walk them th through other campers’ sites. Pets are not allowed in boats, on the beach or near the swimming area.
The Beach is open for swimming from Memorial Day Weekend through Columbus Day from 11:00 am- 6:00pm. Swimming is permitted only in the roped off swimming area. The beach maybe closed periodically for inclement weather or maintenance. When the red flag is displayed there is to be no swimming or dipping of toes in the water. There must be 2 adults present and all children under 16 supervised.
Boating, canoeing, kayaking and paddleboards are permitted with your own equipment. NO SWIMMING from these items. Children under 18 must be supervised and wear a life jacket. No gas motors on boats.
In order to fish at SLBP everyone over 16 needs a valid NYS fishing license. Fishing here is catch and release only, anyone seen taking fish from the lake will be asked to leave.
Here at the campground, we have 2 separate coin operated shower and laundry facilities.
No visitors from outside the campground are permitted to visit tent campers. For Rv campers, visitors must register and pay at the main office upon arrival. Maximum number of visitors is 4 (maximum of people on site is 8). All campers are responsible for their guests, and if extra visitors are at your site without having registered, you and your guests will be asked to leave the campground.
Sylvan Lake Beach Park reserves the right to refuse service/bookings.
