Please observe posted speed limits: 10 mph on the entry road, 5mph in camping areas.
Quiet hours are from 11:00pm-8:00am weekends 10:00pm-8:00am weekdays.

 

For assistance after office hours please go down to the office use the phone next to the office door and call the person on duty, whose name and phone # is on the office door.


The beach/swimming area is open from Memorial Day through Columbus Day from 10:00am-6:00pm. It may be closed periodically for inclement weather or maintenance. When the red flag is displayed there is no swimming or dipping of toes into the water. Swimming is permitted in the roped off areas only. There must be 2 adults present and all children under 16 must be supervised.


Boating, canoes kayaks and paddleboards are permitted with your own equipment, NO SWIMMING from these items.


In order to fish at SLBP everyone over 16 needs to have valid NYS fishing license. Fishing is catch and release only. Do not fish from the docks they are private property. Fishing from the shore is best done from the right of the boat ramp facing the lake.


Bicycles are permitted, riders under 16 must wear a helmet. Please walk your bicycle down the hills. Do not ride or park them in the beach area.


No one is permitted in the woods; you are trespassing onto private property.


No remote-control cars, drones, fireworks, or firearms, atvs dirt bikes or mini bikes (gas or electric).


No working on vehicles. No washing of cars, trucks, or trailers.


Pets: Pets must always be leashed and picked up after. If we see your dog off leash you will be asked to bring it home. They are not allowed in the beach area (from the fire pits to the playground and the shore to the snack bar). Pets are not allowed on boats. Please do not leave your pet outside unattended.


Campfires are permitted in fire rings only. Please do not move them. If you need wood contact the office. Do not bring in outside wood into the campground as per NYS DEC guidelines. Do not cut trees or remove wood from the woods.


Trash will be picked up at the end of your stay or on Mondays for long term.


Please be considerate of your neighbors and the campground property.


Guests are allowed but must be registered by the office and paid for; $10 per adult $5 per child. No more than 8 people total on any site, including those on the reservation.


Please inform everyone on your reservation of these rules, breaking the rules will subject you to removal from the campground.
