A Parkpass is required for all vehicles. Price for parkpasses are not included with the reservation. ParkPass fees are as follow:
1-12 passenger vehicles $5 per day or $50 annual ParkPass;
13-30 passenger vehicles $30 per day or $75 annual ParkPass;
31 or more passenger vehicles $70 per day or $250 annual ParkPass;
Georgia active duty military/veterans $3.75 per day or $37.50 annual ParkPass.
Overnight guests pay only one fee for the duration of their stay.
The daily ParkPass is valid at all state parks visited the same day and is not valid at state historic sites.

Pets are welcomed at the park but are however prohibited from being in or around yurts. (Policy does not apply to service animals.)

Directions to Yurts from the Park Office: Turn right on to Mount Vernon Road go approximately 1/4 mile and look for the sign which states tents 1-5 and yurts 1-10. (Sign on the right, Road is on the left)

The yurt village is located within a shaded section next to the lake. Yurts are a circular tent 20' in diameter, 12' high featuring lattice wall support, insulation, clear dome skylight, finished pine floor, electricity, outside water spigot, heat, ceiling fan & lockable doors. The yurts have a front & rear deck and are furnished with frame furniture that sleeps 6. (2 futons and a full size mattress) Linens, blankets & utensils are not provided. A full-service comfort station is located nearby. Smoking is prohibited within the yurts.
