This site requires that a campsite be booked separately. Horse stalls do not accommodate camping. Please remember that if changes are made for your trip, each individual reservation involved must be changed.
This site has a 10 x 10 stall.
Campers must have at least one horse per campsite, and one stall must be rented for each horse. The park does have gate hours. The park opens every day (except Christmas Day) year round at 7am. The closing time are as follows: December, January and February 7pm; November 8 pm; March, April and October 9pm; May - September 10pm. You must arrive prior to closing, and you will not be able to leave prior to park opening. NC state fishing license (basic) and special trout fishing license are required to fish. Licenses are not sold at the park. Generator Hours 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Generators may not be operated at night. Trail/Campground Use Not Recommended During Wet Weather -- Equestrian trail use during or immediately after significant rainfall is extremely damaging to the trail surface. Please help keep trails in good condition by not riding during these periods. Must have proof of negative test for Equine Infectious Anemia dated within 1 year. Posted quiet hours are enforced (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.). Building fires in undesignated areas is prohibited.
Alcoholic beverages, firearms (including fireworks) and other weapons are prohibited except that those with a proper permit may possess a concealed handgun in permitted areas. Building fires in undesignated areas is prohibited Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes. North Carolina state park rules and regulations are posted in each park and enforced by rangers. Violating these rules and regulations is a misdemeanor and may result in a fine and revocation of permit. State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted. North Carolina state parks are wildlife sanctuaries; no hunting is allowed and collecting plants, minerals and artifacts is prohibited. State fishing regulations are enforced. Pets are allowed except in park buildings and swim areas, but they must be on a leash no longer than six feet and cannot be left unattended.
