Firewood Alert: Bringing firewood into Pennsylvania is prohibited and could result in a citation. To help protect the forest from invasive insects that can kill trees and devastate the ecosystem, please do not transport firewood over long distances. Firewood can harbor insects such as emerald ash borer. The use of local firewood is strongly recommended. All firewood must be burned prior to your departure.
The spotted lanternfly has invaded our area. This invasive insect could cause serious harm to Pennsylvania's resources, businesses, and economy. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAVE! Help us stop the spread of these unwelcome hitchhikers. Inspect your vehicle, camper, tent, gear, etc. before you leave the park and destroy any lanternflies you find. For Pavilion rentals - It is highly recommended that all cars be parked by 11:00 at the latest on the weekends throughout the summer to ensure that you have convenient parking and 10:00 on summer holidays, and Father's Day. Parking spaces will not be reserved. Please make sure to remove all trash from the pavilion at the end of your visit. The trash can be taken to the dumpsters at Parking Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Hunting - About 3000 acres are open to hunting, trapping and the training of dogs during established seasons. Common game species are deer, pheasant, rabbit and turkey.
Programs - The park offers environmental education and interpretive programs which explore a wide variety of ecological and environmental topics.Programs are available from September into June. For more information, contact the environmental education specialist at the park office.

If a customer mentions that the pavilion is being rented for a large event, such as wedding, relay races or they want to bring in a caterer or another business they need to contact the park for approval
There are over 20 miles of trails available for hiking/walking that wind through forests and near the lake.

Any signs posted must be tasteful, non-obtrusive and not excessive in numbers. The sign must be on its own post and must be removed at the end of the day.
Directional signs are not permitted on park signs, posts, buildings or trees.
Do not nail, staple or tape items to the pavilion, pavilion posts or picnic tables as this damages the facility and could cause harm to future guests. To keep table covers from blowing off, tape the corners together. No staples or nails can be used on any part of the pavilion, tables, or park signs. All decorations must be removed at the end of your visit. No use of chalk on the pavilion structure, table or cement pad. No carving on pavilion or picnic tables. No cutting of trees.
- Driving up to the pavilion is prohibited.
- Caterers are permitted to deliver food. Caterers are prohibited from preparing food on site.
- Inflatable structures are prohibited.
- Helium balloons, water balloons and confetti are prohibited.
- Groups larger than 60 persons must contact the park office for approval to reserve a pavilion.
The 1,450-acre Lake Nockamixon is a warm-water fishery. Commons species are walleye, muskellunge, pickerel, smallmouth and largemouth bass, striped bass hybrids, channel catfish, carp and various types of panfish. A fishing pier is at the midpoint of the lake.

Up to 20 hp motors permitted. 1,450-acre Lake Nockamixon has four public launching areas. The Marina and Tohickon launch ramps are popular with sailboat, catamaran and windsurfing enthusiasts. Three Mile Run and Haycock launch facilities are favored for motorboats, canoes and inflatable watercraft.
