Generators are not allowed to be used during quiet hours. Quiet hours are 10:00PM-7:00AM.
In the event of an emergency or overnight problem, campers should contact the campground host for assistance.
Park Hours:
November - February 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
March, April, September, October 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.
May - August 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Closed Christmas Day
At least one adult, 18 or older, MUST accompany each reserved site.
Alcohol is prohibited except on individual campsites. Intoxication in state park is prohibited.
If 24 hrs late of arrival call 704-528-6350. Reservations will be forfeited if we do not hear from you within 24 hrs after arrival date Persons that are 16 years of age or more must possess a valid NC fishing license. Licenses are not sold at the park.
North Carolina state park rules and regulations are posted in each park and enforced by rangers. Violating these rules and regulations is a misdemeanor and may result in a fine and revocation of permit.
State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
North Carolina state parks are wildlife sanctuaries; no hunting is allowed and collecting plants, minerals and artifacts is prohibited.
