From Boone Fork Parking Area: 1.5-mile hike, elevation gain 588', average hiking time one hour. From Profile Trailhead: 6.8-mile hike, elevation gain 2,146', hiking time 6.5 hours. Campfire permitted in stone fire ring provided. Site is 50' off the trail. There is one 8' X 8' tent platform Cables to hang food provided; follow red triangles. Stream located at trail, before the campsite. It is possible that the stream crossing is too high for safe crossing if there have been heavy rains. Campers must use own judgment and common sense. Maximum number of campers on site: six. Campers must complete onsite registration form, located at the kiosk near Boone Fork parking area or the Profile trailhead.
