Alcoholic beverages, firearms (including fireworks) and other weapons are prohibited.
It is a 3/8 mile hike from the closest parking lot.
All campers must check in at the main park office before proceeding to the campgrounds.
The site fee is $2.00 per person per night. Your reservation fee of $10.00 per night covers the first five people only. You will need to go to the office and pay the balance on your fee when your arrive and check in. Pets must be on a leash no longer than six feet and cannot be left unattended. Pets are not allowed inside park buildings.
Posted quiet hours are enforced. Fires in undesignated areas are prohibited.
Unlicensed vehicles, motorcycles, golf carts, ATV's and mini-bikes are prohibited with the exception of mobility-aid devices used by a mobility-impaired person. All vehicles are prohibited from walkways, trails and other areas not designated for such purposes.

Any natural water collected should be properly treated before consumption. Potable water is not available at the campsites nor are natural waters tested for consumption.
Drinking water is available at the Fews Ford Picnic Area.
Split firewood is sometimes provided at campgrounds. Check ahead regarding wood availability. Campers may collect dead and down firewood anywhere within sight of the campsites.
Do not leave fires unattended.
Trash must be packed out.
Fews Ford Access Gate opens 8:00 a.m. Closes: May - August 9:00 p.m. March, April, September, October 8:00 p.m. November - February 6:00 p.m.

State vehicle and traffic laws are enforced, and the speed limit is 25 mph unless otherwise posted.
North Carolina state parks are wildlife sanctuaries; no hunting is allowed and collecting plants, minerals and artifacts is prohibited.
State fishing regulations are enforced.
