Ellacoya State Park is located in Gilford on the southwest shore of Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire's largest lake. The 600-foot long sandy beach, with views across the lake to the Sandwich and Ossipee mountains, is a great place to spend with the family for a full day of swimming and picnicking. The campground includes 37 sites available by reservation only, and offers three-way hook-ups.
Group Use Pavilion:
The Pavilion overlooks Lake Winnipesaukee with a beautiful view of the Ossipee mountain range. The structure has 12 - 14 picnic tables that hold 6 -8 people and is enclosed by a split rail fence and can accommodate up to 100 people. Just outside the Pavilion is a barbecue pit and bathroom facilities are a short distance away. There is an area nearby for lawn games. Gas grills are permitted, which can be used outside of the pavilion. All items must be removed the same day of rental. The pavilion does not have electricity.
The fee for the pavilion is listed below. The fee of $500.00 covers up to 100 people. In order to enter the park without paying the day use fee, guests are required to provide the toll attendant with the name in which the reservation is made under. The rental fee applies to all events regardless of the length of the event. Additional Information the Renter Should Know:
Note: Due to limited parking space, parking is available on a first come first serve basis. Carpooling is highly recommended. Also, vehicles are not allowed on the access road unless approved by the manager, which can be used for unloading only.

- NH State Parks have a carry in/carry out policy for trash
- Alcohol is permitted
- For weddings, please use bird seed instead of rice as this food is harmful to wildlife.
- If renters wish to have outside vendors, liability insurance is required no less than 2 weeks prior to planned event. . The pavilion is not available July 3rd, 4th, & 5th. .
- Special use permits are required for, but not limited to, events that are outside the normal recreational activities for the requested area. Any questions should be discussed with park staff prior to the event. There is a processing fee of $100.
- All permits require certificate of insurance liability with a minimum of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million general aggregate.
