GO DIRECTLY TO SITE AND CHECK IN THE NEXT DAY WITH CAMPGROUND HOST, PARK OFFICE OR PARK RANGER. BE RESPECTFUL OF THOSE ALREADY SET UP. IN CASE OF LATE ARRIVAL 24 HRS OR MORE, PLEASE NOTIFY THE PARK AT 575-387-2328, OR YOUR RESERVATION MAY BE CANCELLED. THE GATE AT COYOTE CREEK SP IS OPEN 24 HRS.
MUST READ III:
YOU MUST HAVE A MOTORHOME OR TRAILER TO CAMP HERE. NO TENT ONLY CAMPING. AT THE PARK'S DISCRETION, AND SPACE PERMITTING, YOU MAY HAVE A TENT ON THE SITE AS WELL.
PETS I:
PERSONS WITH PETS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONTROL OF THEIR PETS. PET OWNERS MUST PICK-UP AFTER THEIR PETS AND MAINTAIN THE AREA IN A CLEAN SANITARY CONDITION. PETS MUST BE ON LEASHES NOT MORE THAN 10 FEET IN LENGTH. OWNERS MUST PREVENT THEIR PETS FROM EXCESSIVE BARKING, HOWLING, AND LOUD NOISES.

A BLACK WATER DUMP STATION IS AVAILABLE WITHIN THE PARK. TRASH RECEPTACLES, COMFORT STATION, STREAM, TRAIL ACCESS, VISITOR CENTER AND CAMPGROUND HOSTS ARE ALL WITHIN 50 YARDS OF THE SITES.
QUIET HOURS:
QUIET HOURS BEGIN AT 10:00PM AND END AT 7:00AM. THE OPERATION OF GENERATORS, RADIOS, UNMUFFLED VEHICLES, OR OTHER LOUD ACTVITY THAT MAY DISTURB OTHERS IS PROHIBITED DURING THIS TIME PERIOD.
SAFETY:
POSSESSION OF LOADED FIREARMS, OR THE DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS, ARROWS, OR AIR/GAS PROPELLED PROJECTILE WEAPONS, OR ANY OTHER DEVICES CAPABLE OF CAUSING INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE IS PROHIBITED.
BOATING:
THERE ARE NO BOATING OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN COYOTE CREEK STATE PARK. THE LAKE AT MORPHY LAKE STATE PARK (RUN COOPERATIVELY WITH COYOTE CREEK), DOES ALLOW FOR SMALL VESSELS WITH ONLY ELECTRIC TROLLING MOTORS OR OARS.
GENERATORS:
THE OPERATION OF GENERATORS IS PROHIBITED DURING QUIET HOURS (10 PM - 7AM).

ALL SITES WITHIN COYOTE CREEK ARE CLOSE QUARTERS CAMPING, SIDE BY SIDE WITH NEXT SITE. SUFFICIENT SPACE FOR SLIDE OUTS. ALL CAMPSITES HAVE A PICNIC TABLE, FIRE RING, ELECTRIC AND SHARED USE WATER HOOK-UPS.

FIREWORKS ARE PROHIBITED IN PARKS UNLESS THEY ARE PART OF A PUBLIC EXHIBIT APPROVED BY THE LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT.

THERE ARE GREAT VIEWS OF THE EASTERN MOUNTAINS AND LOWER PARK MEADOWS FROM THESE SITES.
CAMPFIRE RESTRICTIONS:
FIRES ARE ALLOWED WITHIN PROVIDED FLOOR GRILLS OR PEDESTAL GRILLS WHEN RESTRICTIONS ARE NOT IN PLACE.
FISHING:
RAINBOW TROUT FISHING IS AVAILABLE WITHIN THE STREAM THAT BISECTS THE PARK PROPERTY. THERE ARE TWO PONDS NORTH OF THE PARK PROVIDING ADDITIONAL FISHING AND MORPHY LAKE STATE PARK ACCEPTS ALL FEES THAT HAVE BEEN PAID AT COYOTE CREEK. MORPHY LAKE PROVIDES RAINBOW TROUT FISHING AS WELL.

Vehicles Per Site : ONE (1) vehicle is included in the online reservation fee. A motor home towing a vehicle or a vehicle towing a camping trailer is considered ONE (1) vehicle. Extra vehicles, including motorcycles, will be charged $10 per night per vehicle. A Maximum of TWO (2) vehicles (A motor home towing a vehicle or a vehicle towing a camping trailer and one other vehicle) are allowed per site, space permitting.
PLEASE NOTE: When selecting customer type Volunteer Emeritus or NM Disabled Veterans Pass Holder you are required to show your qualifying documentation when arriving to the NM State Park where your reservations are booked. The non-discounted, full camping fee(s) will be accessed at the park without proper qualifying documentation.
