Firewood Alert: Bringing firewood into Pennsylvania is prohibited and could result in a citation. To help protect the forest from invasive insects that can kill trees and devastate the ecosystem, please do not transport firewood over long distances. Firewood can harbor insects such as emerald ash borer. The use of local firewood is strongly recommended. All firewood must be burned prior to your departure.
The spotted lanternfly has invaded our area. This invasive insect could cause serious harm to Pennsylvania's resources, businesses, and economy. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAVE! Help us stop the spread of these unwelcome hitchhikers. Inspect your vehicle, camper, tent, gear, etc. before you leave the park and destroy any lanternflies you find. For more information, visit the Penn State Extension's Spotted Lanternfly website at https://extension.psu.edu/.Facilities showing as walk-ins, are not available on a first come, first serve basis. Site may be unavailable due to cleaning or maintenance. Please call the park office to confirm availability prior to driving to the park. Minimum stays will be required.

Rustic Cabin Area:
Description:
Cabins A, B and C were designated as dog friendly beginning in 2015. Cabin G is wheelchair accessible. You must bring: bedding, cookware, tableware, buckets, first-aid kit, an axe and a handsaw for cutting or splitting firewood because these items are not provided. The only source of heat within each cabin is a wood burner. Firewood will not be supplied to Cabin occupants. Firewood is sold onsite during the spring and fall at the Campground Host Site in Campground Area A. From Memorial Day to Labor Day firewood is sold at the Food Concession. Each cabin is equipped with a stove with oven, refrigerator, lights, outlets, a simple cupboard, table and benches/chairs, a wood burning fire-place insert and an outdoor table and fire-ring. A Shower House is located in close proximity to the cabin colony. If arrival is after park office hours (8AM - 9PM Memorial day to Labor Day or 8AM - 4PM the rest of the season) the key to the cabin will be placed on the rack located on the porch of the park office under the corresponding letter. Each key will be in an envelope listing the cabin letter and the person’s name that made the reservation. There must be someone 18 years of age or older occupying the cabin. This person will be held responsible for the conduct of your party and/or any damages that occur during your stay. Cabins are limited to one single family household or 4 persons.
