Cabins do not have running water in them. Alcoholic Beverages are prohibited. Cabin occupant is responsible for any supplementary firewood during this time and all firewood during the summer. Gas heat is available in all cabins.

For all cabin, yurt, and cottage rentals visitors need to bring: Bed linens, Towels, Dishes, Pots and Pans. If you have any questions, please contact the park office.
Effective 4-2-2021 Updated Check-In and Check-Out Times: Check-in will now be at 3 p.m. on your day of arrival. Check-out will be at 10 a.m. on your day of departure.
Window air conditioners are not permitted in this facility.
Firewood Alert: Bringing firewood into Pennsylvania is prohibited and could result in a citation. To help protect the forest from invasive insects that can kill trees and devastate the ecosystem, please do not transport firewood over long distances. Firewood can harbor insects such as emerald ash borer. The use of local firewood is strongly recommended. All firewood must be burned prior to your departure.
The spotted lanternfly has invaded our area. This invasive insect could cause serious harm to Pennsylvania's resources, businesses, and economy. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAVE! Help us stop the spread of these unwelcome hitchhikers. Inspect your vehicle, camper, tent, gear, etc. before you leave the park and destroy any lanternflies you find. For more information, visit the Penn State Extension's Spotted Lanternfly website at https://extension.psu.edu/.Facilities showing as walk-ins, are not available on a first come, first serve basis. Site may be unavailable due to cleaning or maintenance. Please call the park office to confirm availability prior to driving to the park. Minimum stays will be required.
This cabin is located off a steep access road. Access in winter months may be impacted by snow and ice. During these times, all-wheel drive vehicles are recommended to access this cabin, as access via car cannot be guaranteed. For information on current conditions, please contact the park office.
River Cabin 6 will receive two complimentary bundles of firewood before Memorial Day weekend and after Labor Day weekend. Cabin occupant is responsible for any supplementary firewood during this time and all firewood during the summer.
Tents, camping trailers, and motor homes are not permitted in cabin area.
Water at the River Cabins will be turned off between the third Sunday in October and the first Friday in May. You should bring containers to carry water from the Shower House for use in the cabin.
Check out for Indian and River Cabins is 10 AM. There will be a fee charged for late check out.Cabin Keys must be returned to the Park Office by 10:00 AM on date of departure or occupant will be cited.
Smoking is prohibited in the cabins and other state park buildings.

This is a dog friendly facility. Dogs will only be permitted in the designated facilities. All other Pennsylvania state parks will continue to prohibit pets in cabins. No more than two dogs are allowed to stay in any one cabin.
