Now it’s even easier to get out and enjoy The Gem State with the brand new Idaho State Parks website, which provides expanded opportunities for online purchases, email renewal notices, and temporary registrations.
In addition to researching trips and making their camping reservations, customers can now register a boat, an off-road vehicle, or a snowmobile and instantly receive a temporary registration. Customers no longer have to wait for several days for a registration sticker to arrive in the mail, allowing them to immediately enjoy more of the experiences that Idaho has to offer.
COVID-19 Impact on Idaho State Parks
- As a reminder, all overnight camping in Idaho State Parks has been suspended until at least May 15 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Idaho State Parks are currently open for day-use only and visitors are being asked to follow all CDC social distancing guidelines to help keep themselves and the parks safe for outdoor recreation by maintaining a 6ft distance, practicing good hygiene, and staying home if they feel unwell.
- Currently all reservations for arrival days that start after May 15th are valid. In the event the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation is required to cancel additional reservations due to COVID-19, customers will be contacted, and full refunds will be issued at that time.
