1. Shiloh on the Lake, Texas

This park sits between the south end of Cedar Creek Reservoir and the Piney Woods forest, offering a mix of water and land recreation. Visitors enjoy boating, watersports, or simply enjoying the beautiful lake views from the shoreline. Shiloh on the Lake campground features a fishing pier, fish cleaning station, and kayak rentals on site. 3. Lake Miola Campgrounds, Kansas
Discover plenty of fun activities in this park in a natural wooded valley cut by bubbling creeks. This is where you will find a beautiful beach, many shorebirds, waterfowl, and songbirds. Outdoor enthusiasts come here for boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, and biking. This is Iowa’s largest park with over 2,000 acres. On the north side of the lake is the five-mile trail most popular with bicyclists. Much of the trail runs along the lake. The remainder runs through incredible forested landscapes. The lake provides prime fishing for muskie, walleye, and channel catfish. It is also likely to be the only lake where you can snag a highly coveted Kentucky spotted bass. There are two campgrounds, one modern with full hookups and the other with non-electric sites.

4. Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground, California
A hidden gem east of the Sierra Nevada mountains, Bridgeport Reservoir Marina and Campground is a waterfront destination you won’t want to miss. Bridgeport Reservoir boasts gorgeous mountain views and a rich ecosystem that sustains rainbow trout, brown trout, and the occasional Sacramento perch. The marina offers slips and boats for rent, a tackle shop, boat launch, and fish cleaning station on site.
The campground has 15 RV sites with full hookups. On site amenities include WiFi, beach access, bathhouses, a propane station, laundry facilities, and a dog park. Bridgeport sits across the street from several recreational off-roading trails, and there are ATV rentals available at the campground. 5. Quinebaug Cove Campground, Massachusetts 
Located by East Brimfield Lake in south central Massachusetts, Quinebaug Cove Campground is a great family destination. The lake is stocked with trout in the spring, and there is a scenic 6-mile canoe or kayak trail located not far from the campground. Guests at Quinebaug Cove enjoy convenient, free boat ramp access on site.
Quinebaug Cove has plenty of land activities as well, including volleyball and basketball courts, a playground, a recreation hall, and different scheduled activities like hayrides or crafts.
