Buttgenbach Campground
The Buttgenbach Campground at Croom Motorcycle Area (CMA) is located within the Withlacoochee State Forest, twenty minutes northeast of Brooksville. The 2,600-acre facility has miles of marked and unmarked ATV and dirt bike riding trails for all ages and riding levels. The site has an improved motorcycle track, so grab your family and friends for miles of fun through the forest making this site a memorable trip for everyone.

Coldwater Equestrian Campground
If swimming and horseback riding are the combination your looking for, Blackwater River State Forest’s Coldwater Campgrounds has both. Coldwater Recreation Area has been a prized recreation area for bird dog and fox hound field trial participants. There are horse stalls, corrals, and trails through some of the most scenic woodlands in Florida. Come explore the rolling hills of pines, trails, and beautiful North Florida rivers and lakes.
Womack Creek Campground
Tate’s Hell State Forest’s Womack Creek Campground, about 10 miles southwest of Sopchoppy, has a boat launch and is a great central location for canoeing, kayaking, and fishing. The forest offers 35 miles of rivers within close proximity to the Gulf of Mexico that will provide numerous water adventures in a quiet forest camp setting for the entire family.
Flying A Campground
For the RV Boone Dockers, try Flying A Campground in Mayakka State Forest, about one-hour south of Sarasota. This unique subtropical forest camping just five minutes from South West Florida’s white sandy beaches. The area consists of 10 individual treelined primitive campsites with fishing spots accessible by foot.
