Pie-Iron French Toast

It’s a smart move to take a pie iron on your camping trip. It is good for many things, but especially for making campfire French toast. Besides a pie iron, you’ll need eggs, butter, cinnamon, bread, your favorite fruit, and syrup. Butter your pie iron. Break some eggs into a bowl and scramble, adding a tablespoon of cinnamon. Dip bread into the mixture so both sides are covered. Place the bread into the sides of the buttered pie iron. Top with your favorite fruit and close the pie iron, warming it over the fire. Once your French toast is all warmed up, put a little syrup over it, and enjoy.
