Tate’s Hell State Forest Womack Creek Campground

Located about 10 miles southwest of Sopchoppy, Florida Womack Creek Campground is a perfect spot to pitch a tent or park your RV this spring! There are plenty of recreational activities in Tate’s Hell State Forest including a boat launch and 35 miles of rivers, streams, and creeks available for canoeing, boating and fishing. Picnicking at one of the many day-use areas is a popular activity, as well as hiking along the High Bluff Hiking Trail which is a part of the Great Florida Birding Trail.

Ralph E. Simmons State Forest Group Site

The Group Site is nestled in the Ralph E. Simmons State Forest in Nassau County, in northeastern Florida. The area can accommodate two groups of 25 people. Scotts Landing Road Campground is located on the southwest side and offers tent camping and a basic shower. The cabin is located on the northeast side adjacent to the St. Marys River. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the nearby river and two oxbow lakes along with numerous cypress stands, ponds and swamps providing an abundance of fishing and wildlife viewing.

Lake Wales Ridge State Forest Walk-in-the-Water Campground

This Walk-in-the-Water Campground is located within the Lake Wales Ridge State Forest and approximately 44 miles SE of Lakeland. It features 10 primitive campsites, all but one of which require advanced registration. Each campsite has a picnic table and fire ring setup to relax and enjoy the surrounding beauty.

Blackwater River State Forest Krul Campground

Krul Campground is located one-hour northeast of Pensacola. This spacious site is located on a 6.5-acre lake within Blackwater River State Forest complete with a swimming dock and pier. Spend the day swimming, picnicking, hiking the Sweetwater Hiking Trail, bird watching, wildlife viewing and photographing the beautiful spring flowers.
