The Utah State Division of Parks and Recreation manages more than 2,000 campsites ranging from primitive to plush. Amenities at many parks include restrooms, drinking water, barbeque grills, picnic tables, parking pads, showers and utility hookups. In Utah's 41 heritage, scenic and recreational state parks, visitors camp, boat, swim, fish, picnic and ride horseback. You can visit interpretive areas, enjoy nature trails, play golf, hike, bike, ride off-highway vehicles or just relax with family and friends. Even in winter, cross-country skiers, snowmobilers, ice fishers and hardy campers are taking advantage of Utah state parks. Recreation opportunities found in the state parks are as diverse as the parks themselves. |
